PURPOSE: An indoor unit of a concealed ceiling mounted air conditioner is provided to enable installation of the indoor unit in a building where the height of the inner space of a ceiling is low. CONSTITUTION: An indoor unit of a concealed ceiling mounted air conditioner has a case(10) concealed in a ceiling(C) and a heat exchanger(4) built in the case. The lower end(4a) of the heat exchanger is installed lower than the bottom surface of the ceiling, to reduce the ceiling-concealed thickness of the case. The bottom center part(CA) of the case corresponding to the lower end of the heat exchanger is protruded downwardly. The height and the protruded degree of a ceiling-concealed part(11) of the case and the bottom center part of the case are adjusted according to the height of the inner space of the ceiling.
