PURPOSE: An electron gun for CRT is provided to reduce an alignment error between an accelerating electrode and a first anode and to improve a withstand voltage error. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun(10) for CRT comprises a triode(18) including a cathode(12), a control electrode(14), and an accelerating electrode(16); a first anode(20) including a small cylindrical unit, a large cylindrical unit, and an electron beam through hole at the small cylindrical unit and arranged next to the accelerating electrode; a focus electrode(22) arranged next to the first anode; and a second anode(24) arranged next to the focus electrode. A thickness increasing unit is provided on the small cylindrical unit of the first anode in order to increase the thickness of the hole.
