PURPOSE: A leaking preventing structure for a hardness measuring apparatus of a washing machine is provided to prevent epoxy from discharging to a gap between an electrode sensor and a sensor hole during a process of hardening melting epoxy. CONSTITUTION: A sensor housing(56) is installed to a side of a tub to prevent washing water from leaking. An electrode sensor(60) penetrates through a sensor hole(58) formed to the sensor housing. The electrode sensor measures conductivity of washing water, arranged to an outer side of the sensor housing on one end. The inside of the sensor housing is filled with epoxy(62). An indented sill(64) blocks between the sensor hole and the electrode sensor to prevent epoxy from leaking through the sensor hole. Thereby, epoxy is prevented from leaking before melting epoxy is solidified. |
