PURPOSE: A system for reciprocally informing of a remaining distance in a position information service using a mobile communication terminal is provided to inform a mobile communication terminal that a mobile communication terminal user accesses a specific position within a designated distance, thereby recognizing whether the mobile communication terminal user enters the specific position. CONSTITUTION: An information provider manager(402) stores/manages information provider-related information and destination information included in the information provider-related information. A subscriber manager(404) stores/manages mobile communication terminal user-related information using a specific position entrance result inform service, and stores/manages a destination name by receiving the destination name from a mobile communication terminal user. A subscriber position analyzer(406) receives a current position of the user in real time, and confirms a distance between the current position and a destination. If the destination is within a designated distance, a remaining distance inform message generator(408) generates a message to transmit the message to a mobile communication terminal.
