PURPOSE: A device for integrating a signal repeater with a signal gateway and a signal processing method therefor are provided to integrate a signal repeater with a signal gateway without changing software or a service interception of the signal repeater, and to interface the signal repeater with the signal gateway with an IP, thereby reducing a cost of constructing a communication line. CONSTITUTION: A signal repeater sub system(10) re-writes an SS7 message into an IPC message from an SEP(Signaling End Point)(5), outputs the IPC message to a conversion sub system(20), re-writes an IPC message of the conversion sub system(20) into an SS7 message, and transmits the SS7 message to the SEP(11). The conversion sub system(20) re-writes the IPC message into an IP packet to output the IP packet to a signal gateway sub system(30), and re-writes an IP packet of the signal gateway sub system(30) into an IPC message to output the IPC message to the signal repeater sub system(10). The signal gateway sub system(30) re-writes the IP packet into a protocol message to transmit the protocol message to a next generation network(2), and re-writes a protocol message of the next generation network(2) into an IP packet to transmit the IP packet to the conversion sub system(20). |
