PURPOSE: Provided is a method for constructing a kiln which is characterized in that conical-shaped ceramic bricks are spirally piled up on the vertical wall of the lower part of the kiln for the production of large-sized ceramics. CONSTITUTION: The kiln is constructed by the following steps of: making a concrete base(9); piling earth(8) on the base; installing a pillar(7) on earth to support a floor slab(6); putting large-sized ceramic products on the floor slab; building a vertical wall around the ceramic products; laying conical-shaped ceramic bricks spirally with bricks lying on one side; blocking a hole(10) left on the top after piling up bricks with a brick in a reverse direction of the conical-shaped brick, wherein the heat from a burner(3) is moved to the upper part of the kiln and comes into the ceramic products through the hole for sintering. A chimney(1) is connected to the lower part of the floor slab and a damper(2) controlling heat is connected to the chimney.
