PURPOSE: Provided are a composition using the extract of ivy vines collected from the pine tree and a method for manufacturing the same. The manufactured composition contains resveratrol and is thus effective for treatment of diseases. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a beverage composition using the extract of ivy vines comprises the steps of: collecting a three year old ivy vine from a pine tree and separating only its stem; drying the separated stem in a drier or in the shade and breaking it into pieces; inserting the pieces in a container containing 40-70% of ethanol and vacuum-sealing the container, followed by storage at 40-60 deg.C for 3 months to give its extract; and filtering the extract, if necessary, diluting the filtered extract with distilled water.
