PURPOSE: A port opening/closing unit of a mobile communication terminal is provided to automatically open the port when a data receiving jack is inserted into a port. CONSTITUTION: Upper/lower slide covers(121a,121b) open and close a port(120) formed at a lower end of a terminal body(100) so that a data receiving jack(130) can be inserted and connected to a receptacle(111) protruded at a lower end of a PCB(110). Upper/lower slide guiders(123a,123b) protrusively installed inwardly of the terminal body(100) and guides forward/backward slid movement of the upper/lower slide covers(121a,121b). An elastic member(124) is installed insertedly in slide grooves(122a,122b) of the upper/lower slider guiders(123a,123b) and provides an elastic force to a rear stage of the upper/lower slide covers(121a,121b) to close the port(120).
