PURPOSE: A cascode current circuit for improving an output range is provided, which is easily applied to a device such as an electroluminiscence system by increasing the output range without depending on the threshold value. CONSTITUTION: A cascode current circuit for improving an output range includes a cascode current source(10) and an output transistor unit(20). The cascode current source(10) is provided with a first transistor(M5), a second transistor(M3) and a third transistor(M3). The cascode current source(10) generates a first and a second current. The power voltage is the source input of the first transistor(M5) and the first current is a drain output of the first transistor(M5). The second transistor(M3) is connected to the drain terminal of the first transistor(M5). The third transistor(M4) is connected to the gate terminal of the first transistor(M5). And, the power voltage is the source input of the third transistor(M3) and outputs the second current.
