MICROORGANISM LACTOBACILLUS PLANTARUM FOR FERMENTATION OF BARELY SILAGE

PURPOSE: A microorganism Lactobacillus plantarum for fermentation of barely silage is provided, thereby improving quality and storage of the barley silage which is used as a supplement fodder of domestic animals. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Lactobacillus plantarum NLRI 201(KACC-91016) for fermentation of barely silage is provided, wherein Lactobacillus plantarum NLRI 201(KACC-91016) is isolated by inserting the barley silage extract with high quality into MRS broth medium containing 0.02% of sodium azide, culturing the extract at 37 deg. C for 24 hours, spreading the cultured medium on MRS agar medium containing 0.02% of sodium azide, culturing the medium at 37 deg. C for 48 hours, and selecting colonies grown.
