PURPOSE: A motor control method of a washing machine is provided to improve performance and reliability by restricting imbalance of the laundry in washing and preventing over current with keeping balance of bi-directional rotation by restricting increase of the clockwise or counterclockwise duty. CONSTITUTION: A drive microcomputer performs washing by rotating a motor clockwise or counterclockwise and driving a feed valve and a drain valve(S21), and compares the clockwise duty with the counterclockwise duty(S22). The clockwise duty is decreased in case of the difference between the clockwise duty and the counterclockwise duty to be over the threshold value(S23,S24). The counterclockwise duty decreases if the counterclockwise duty is larger than the clockwise duty(S25,S26). Washing is performed with adjusting the duty by repeating steps, and rinsing and dehydrating are performed after washing. |
