PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent an insertion phenomenon of a case top when assembling the LCD. CONSTITUTION: The LCD comprises a support main(34), a backlight unit and a liquid crystal panel(26) stacked at the inside of the support main(34), a cover bottom(36) for covering with a bottom surface and a side surface of the support main(34) and a case top(22) for fixing the support main(34) and the liquid crystal panel(26). The support main(34) is made of a mold material and a side wall surface of its inside is formed as a step-type surface. A backlight unit including a reflective sheet(32), a light guide panel(30), optical sheets(28) and a lamp housing is mounted to the bottom layer of the support main(34). The liquid crystal panels(26) on which polarizing sheets(24a,24b) are attached, respectively, are stacked on the backlight unit. |
