摘要

PURPOSE: A gasket for a drum type washing machine is provided to maintain a shape of the gasket through the washing machine is operated for hours or left by reinforcing rigidity of the gasket. CONSTITUTION: A gasket(70) of a drum type washing machine protrudes a rib for reinforcing rigidity circumferentially. Thereby, the gasket is not transformed when the washing machine is operated for hours or left though shock is given to a tub or a drum. Ribs are formed to a first flat portion(71) or a second flat portion(77) of the gasket as a semicircular shape to disperse stress concentrated on the rib.
