OPEN LOOP RESONANT FILTER

PURPOSE: An open loop resonant filter is provided to obtain wide band characteristics without causing degradation of group delay characteristics by forming an opening on a ground surface. CONSTITUTION: An open loop resonant filter comprises one or more open loop resonators formed into a microstrip line on a dielectric(220); and one or more openings(210) formed by removing a predetermined portion of a ground surface(230) formed on the dielectric. Each of the open loop resonators is constituted by two open loops(110,120). The opening is formed on the ground surface located at the position corresponding to the portion where coupling of the open loop resonators occurs.
