PURPOSE: An apparatus for taking a radiation image is provided to realize a light photographing part by detachably mounting a grid module and a photo timer module. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for taking a radiation image includes a radiation detection part, a case, a grid part(5), and a photo-timer part. The radiation detection part includes a detection surface on which an optical/electric element is arranged and converts an x-ray into an electrical signal. The case has the radiation detection part. The grid part(5) includes a grid for removing scattered radiation rays and a grid frame. The photo-timer part includes a photo-timer for calculating an amount of radiation rays and a photo-timer frame. The grid part(5) is detachably mounted on the case through the grid frame.
