PURPOSE: A cyclone dust collecting apparatus for a vacuum cleaner is provided to generate the revolution air current in the inhaled air containing dirt via an inhalation brush and to separatively collect dirt from the revolution air current. CONSTITUTION: A cyclone dust collecting apparatus(100) for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a cyclone body including a body frame having a first outer shell(112), a first inner shell(113) and an air inlet and outlet(114,117) connected to the first inner shell, and at least one first dirt outlet(113a) for discharging dirt into the space between the inner shell and outer shell; a dirt collecting shell having a first dirt collector and a second dirt collector formed by a second outer shell(132) and a second inner shell(133) corresponding to the first outer shell and the first inner shell, respectively, and at least one second dirt outlet(133a,133b) for discharging dirt from the first dirt collector to the second dirt collector; and a grill for preventing the counterflow of dirt separated from air through the air outlet.
