PURPOSE: A tub assembly is provided to prevent the defect of a motor and the accidents by preventing the inflow of water into a motor. CONSTITUTION: A tub body(22) stores water or a detergent to clean the laundry and includes a drum to be rotatable and a motor to rotate the drum. A rib(24) for preventing the inflow of water is formed in the tub body to prevent the inflow of water into the motor. The rib is protruded roundly. The tub assembly comprises an electric heating member(25) and a connector(26). The electric heating member is arranged in the tub body to heat water inside the tub body. The connector is arranged in the outer circumference of the tub body to supply the electricity to the electric heating member. Ribs(27,28) for isolating water are formed in the tub body to isolate water toward the connector. Thereby, the inflow of water into electric components inside the motor is prevented.
