GASKET OF DRUM TYPE WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A gasket for a drum type washing machine is provided to reduce foreign materials throwing in by reducing a space between an input hole portion of a drum and an open hole portion of a tub. CONSTITUTION: A drum type washing machine includes a cabinet(50), a door, a tub(62), a drum(64), a gasket(70) and a leaf(78). The leaf is protruded from an inner peripheral surface of the gasket to prevent the laundry from falling into a gap between an open hole portion(62a) and an input hole portion(64a). An end of the leaf is extended toward a front portion of an end of the drum to reduce the gap between the open hole portion and the input hole portion. Thereby, the laundry is not damaged by foreign materials by protruding and extending the end of the leaf. The exterior is improved not by showing the gap the open hole portion and the input hole portion.
