FLAME-RETARDANT COATING LIQUID COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a flame-retardant coating liquid composition, which is coated on a surface of a substrate emitting harmful gases during combustion to delay burning-out of the substrate and minimize the generation of harmful gases, and has excellent processability. CONSTITUTION: The flame-retardant coating liquid composition comprises: 10-50 wt% of a water-soluble resin, acrylic resin or urethane resin; 10-30 wt% of a flame-retardant; 8-20 wt% of a flame-retarding aid; 30-45 wt% of a diluent; and 0.1-0.5 wt% of additives. Particularly, the water-soluble resin comprises at least one synthetic resin selected from the group consisting of alkyd resins, acrylic resins, epoxy ester resins and mixtures thereof. The flame-retardant coating liquid composition is coated on a substrate, and the substrate is heat-treated at 80-150 deg.C and then dried to provide a flame-retardant product.
