START-UP CIRCUIT AND POWER SUPPLY FOR APPLYING POWER TO START-UP CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A start-up circuit and a power supply are provided to simplify a wiring configuration and consumption of stand-by power by transmitting signals for discriminating occurrences of wake-up events through a single signal line. CONSTITUTION: A start-up circuit(110) comprises a signal sensing and holding unit(107) for sensing the generation of first to N-th wake-up even signals and holding the sensed relevant wake-up even signal; a power apply control unit(109) for outputting a power apply signal to a power supply when at least one of the wake-up event signals is held; first to n-th voltage apply units(111 to 115) for outputting different voltage signals in correspondence to each of the held wake-up event signals; and a pulse width modulation unit(117) for transmitting the pulse width modulation signal having a corresponding duty ratio in correspondence to the voltage signal output from the voltage apply units, to an external control unit through a single line(119).
