PURPOSE: A reinforcement method for a concrete beam using an external steel wire is provided to repair a bending transformation and a crack of a concrete beam, to reinforce a concrete beam easily, to increase the load carrying capacity of a concrete beam and to minimize stress concentration. CONSTITUTION: The reinforcement method for a concrete beam using an external steel wire comprises the steps of fixing a bracket to one side of a concrete beam of a main girder of a bridge, coupling an external steel wire to the bracket, and tensioning by using a hydraulic tension device.
