PURPOSE: A short-range wireless communication base station having a wireless LAN and a battery is provided to remove a communication cable as communicating with a wireless LAN, and to charge a battery with a supplying power by using a street lamp and a solar cell, thereby preventing a building and a base station from being connected through a cable. CONSTITUTION: The first wireless LAN(212) is connected with an ADSL modem(211) inside a building(210). The second wireless LAN(232) is installed in a power box(230) by being spaced from the building(210). A battery(234) charges power supplied from a street lamp(251) and a solar cell(260) inside the power box(230). A communication cable(222) is connected to the second wireless LAN(232). A base station(240) is connected to the battery(234) by a power cable(221). The first and second wireless LANs(212,232) further comprise oriented antennas(213,231).
