PURPOSE: A heat exchanger is provided to realize the sufficient heat exchange quantity by equalizing separation of a refrigerant flowing in each flat pipe. CONSTITUTION: A lower header(2) and an upper header(5) are arranged substantially horizontally at a predetermined distance. A plurality of flat pipes(3) are arranged substantially vertically between the lower header and the upper header, with both ends connected with the lower header and the upper header. A fin(4) is arranged between the adjacent flat pipes to meander. Connecting pipes(1,6) are connected to the lower header and the upper header respectively, wherein the connecting pipes are extended in the longitudinal direction of the lower header and the upper header.
