BOG PROCESSING SYSTEM OF LNG SHIP APPLYING INTERNAL COMBUSTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A BOG(Boil-Off Gas) generated in a cargo tank is processed when using a diesel engine or gas turbine, thereby simplifying the structure and improving reliability. CONSTITUTION: In a BOG(Boil-Off Gas) processing system of an LNG ship, a BOG discharge hole in upper part of a cargo tank(1) is connected to an internal combustion engine(13) and a thermal oxidizer through a fuel gas compressor. An excessive BOG is burned by the thermal oxidizer directly. The BOG is sent to the internal engine by a controller when propelling the LNG ship, and is sent to the thermal oxidizer when not propelling the LNG ship.
