PURPOSE: A driving circuit for a vacuum cleaner is provided to remove a signal wire from a handle and a cleaner body and to easily manufacture a suction hose by controlling the vacuum cleaner with wireless communication. CONSTITUTION: A driving circuit for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a wireless transmitter(250) mounted to a handle(435), and a wireless receiver(150) mounted to a cleaner body(420) and receiving signals from the wireless transmitter. The wireless transmitter includes a secondary battery, a regulator regulating the output of the secondary battery, a micro controller receiving the output of the regulator, a light-emitting diode connecting an output unit of the regulator to an input unit of the micro controller, and a switch. The wireless receiver includes a light-receiving transistor, a filter unit removing noise signals from the received signals, a comparator comparing the output signals of the filter with a reference signal, and a micro controller outputting a driving signal.
