METHOD OF FABRICATING CHARGING ROLLER

PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a charging roller is provided to reduce a variation of resistance with respect to variations in humidity and temperature and improve resistance uniformity when the charging roller is fabricated. CONSTITUTION: Materials of a conductive elastic layer including EPDM, carbon black, sulfur and a foaming agent are accurately measured. The materials are mixed using an open roll. Then, carbon black, S, ZND and foaming agent are sequentially injected into the EPDM to form a master batch. The master batch is wrapped with vinyl. The master back is cured for 24 hours and classified into five batches. The gap of the open roll is narrowed to 3mm, an accelerating agent is injected into the master batch, and then the master batch is dropped. The gap of the open roll is narrowed to 2mm and the surface of a sheet is observed with the naked eye. The master batch is cut and wrapped with vinyl and cured for 24 hours. The master batch is injection-molded using a cross head.
