PURPOSE: An installing structure of a lid spring of a washing machine is provided to assemble the lid spring easily, prevent the lid spring from separating and reinforce rigidity by improving a spring hanger. CONSTITUTION: A top cover(54) is mounted to an upper side of a cabinet(52). An open hole is formed to the top cover to put in and take out the laundry. A lid(56) is connected to the top cover to open and shut the open hole of the top cover. A lid spring(58) is hung to the lid on one end and to the top cover on the other end to open and shut the lid elastically. A spring hanger is protruded from a side of the top cover. A hanging groove(60) is installed to the spring hanger to hang the other end of the lid spring. A hanging sill(64) is formed to the spring hanger to prevent the lid spring from separating optionally. The hanging sill is protruded orthogonally to a separating direction of the lid spring. Thereby, the lid spring is not separated from the spring hanger by forming the hanging sill orthogonally. |
