PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to improve the strength of an upper frame and to firmly support both upper parts of a cabinet. CONSTITUTION: The vertical section of an upper frame(60) is a square to be opened its one side. The lower center of the upper frame is rounded. A circulating pump(116) pumps water or a detergent from a tub(80). A circulating hose(118) circulates the pumped water or the detergent into the tub. A storage portion(130) stores the circulating hose in the left or the right of a cabinet. Thereby, the strength of the upper frame is improved and the both parts of the cabinet are supported firmly.
