PURPOSE: An apparatus for dehydrating and sterilizing a dish towel or a sanitary wet towel is provided to dehydrate a dish towel used in the kitchen or a sanitary wet towel used in the hospital and then sterilize it using the ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(10) for dehydrating and sterilizing a dish towel/a sanitary wet towel comprises a main body(20) having a determined shape; a dehydrating tank(30) installed inside the main body and rotated by a motor(60); an ultraviolet lamp irradiating the ultraviolet rays to the dehydrated dish towel and sanitary wet towel; a lid(40) bonded closely to the main body; a switch(90) for controlling the operation of the dehydrating tank and the ultraviolet lamp; a drain pipe(70) for draining the dehydrated water outward; and a watertight unit(80) preventing the water emitted from the dehydrating tank from flowing into the motor. |
