PURPOSE: A fuel control system of a gasoline engine is provided to reduce HC(Hydrocarbon) emission in cold starting and improve fuel efficiency during or after warm-up by changing fuel injection targeting to operation conditions of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A fuel control system of a gasoline engine comprises an engine adopting a CVVT(Continuously Variable Valve Timing) mechanism; a fuel tank for storing fuel supplied to the engine; a fuel pump installed to the side of the fuel tank to form the pressure of fuel required for the engine and supply the fuel to a delivery pipe; an injector(20) connected and installed to intake ports corresponding to cylinders(31) of the engine to change the spray directions to the upside or lower side; a fuel injection targeting controller(30) disposed to the bottom of the injector to move up and down the tip of the injector; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) for driving the targeting controller.
