摘要 PURPOSE: A multi-protocol label switch system and a dynamic FEC(Forwarding Equivalence Class) mapping setting method of the system are provided to automatically update FEC aggregation information for an LSP(Label Switched Path) corresponding to information of the L3 routing entry immediately when a change occurs on L3 routing entry. CONSTITUTION: An FE sets a system at an initial stage by registering FEC mapping information on an LSP(S1). The FE configures data traffic channel and processes data traffic(S2). It is checked whether an L3 routing entry information has been changed(S3). If the L3 routing entry information has been changed, a FEC mapping information is searched from an LSP FEC mapping information storing unit(S4). It is determined whether an FEC exists for the changed L3 routing entry(S5). If there is an FEC, the LSP FEC mapping information storing unit is updated and only FEC mapping information on the changed LSP is transmitted to an FIBM(S6). The FEC mapping information on the changed LSP is transmitted to the FE(S7). The FE updates the FEC mapping information on the LSP and processes data traffic on the basis of the updated information(S8).
