PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suppressing device for optical system scattered light by multiple partition walls that can absorb traveling scattered light by forming partition chambers surrounded with many partition walls in an optical system, confining the scattered light in the partition chambers, and repeatedly reflecting the light. SOLUTION: The suppressing device for optical system scattered light by multiple partition walls is equipped with a long-sized cylindrical body 2 which is coupled with an imaging surface 1 and has a light guide-in opening 3 with a pinhole 3A atop, a plurality of partition walls 4 to 8 which partition the inside of the cylindrical body 2 and have stopping surfaces stopping incident scattered light from traveling so that openings are in the center, and partition chambers 11 to 16 which are partitioned with the plurality of partition walls 4 to 8 and have internal wall surfaces absorbing the incident scattered light.
