PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm type load detection sensor in which load detection accuracy is elevated by attaching a fixation part to an installation part through a soft elastic member, a load detection unit incorporating the sensor, and an electronic balance utilizing the diaphragm type load detection sensor and the load detection unit. SOLUTION: The diaphragm type load detection sensor includes the fixation part 11 attached to the installation part 5, a strain generation part 12 provided to the fixation part 11 and having a loading part 13 to which the load to be detected is applied, and a sensing part provided to the strain generation part 12, in which the fixation part 11 is attached to the installation part 5 through the soft elastic member 16.
