PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of simplifying a control circuit of a door opening device and arbitrarily varying the projecting force in opening a door. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with a door 10b openably and closeably mounted on a front face opening part of a main body storage compartment 1, the door opening device 20 pressing a door face to open the door by projecting out a pressing member 21c by an electric driving source, a handle switch 12 mounted on the door 10b or a main body outer side and outputting an operation signal in a state of being operated by a user, a door switch 14 outputting an opening signal in a state that the door is opened, and a control means 37 mounted to receive the outputs from the handle switch 12 and the door switch 14, and controlling the duty of the driving source 21 when the operation signal is input in a state that the opening signal is not input.
