PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll fluid-machinery, wherein satisfactory lubrication and cooling performance can be maintained throughout extended periods of use at an elevated temperature. SOLUTION: The scroll fluid-machinery includes a casing 1, a fixed scroll 6, a rotor scroll 14, and an oil-supply means 19. The casing 1 serves as an oil tank 3, in which liquid oil for cooling and lubrication is stored. The fixed scroll 6 is placed in the casing 1. The rotor scroll 14 is placed rotatably to a rotating shaft 10 of an electric motor 7 in the casing 1. A plurality of compression chambers 16 are formed by partition between the fixed scroll 6 and the rotor scroll 14. The oil-supply means 19 supplies liquid oil 4 stored in the tank 3 to the rear side of the scroll 14. The oil 4 contains synthetic fluid, which contains straight or branched saturated hydrocarbon.
