PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of a plain roof tile on a tiled roof without using soil, and to implement construction of a lightweight roof. SOLUTION: A plain roof tile main body 1 has stabilizing bars 3 on a rear portion 7 thereof at right and left locations of a tail bar 2. Each stabilizing lug 3 has a length longer than that of the tail bar 2, in a direction of a water draining side 5, and has a thickness sufficient for abutting on a batten 6 when a recess 4 makes contact with the batten 6, or a thickness that slightly separates the recess 4 from the batten 6. In this manner the plain roof tile main body 1 can be stably mounted on the roof only by using the batten 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
