PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing accelerator for a curable resin capable of exhibiting excellent curing properties in a moistened state, fluidity, reflow crack resistance, and shelf characteristics at a high temperature, to provide a method for obtaining a phosphine derivative which is used for the curing accelerator, to provide a curable resin composition by using the curing accelerator, and to provide an electronic component device having elements sealed with the curable resin composition. SOLUTION: This curing accelerator for the curable resin is obtained by reacting (a) a phosphine compound with (b) a compound having one or more halogen atoms which are substituted in an aromatic ring and one or more protons which are releasable in its molecule, and then subjecting the reaction product to dehydrohalogenation. The curable resin composition contains the curing accelerator for the curable resin. The electronic component device has elements sealed with the curable resin composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
