PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state electrolytic capacitor and a method of manufacturing the same in order to stabilize electric characteristics by solving the problems of physical stress during assembling into capacitor element, increase in a leak current due to the thermal stress in the reflow of solder and generation of a short-circuit, and by preventing generation of the short-circuit through reduction of a leak current. SOLUTION: The solid-state electrolytic capacitor ensuring stable electrical characteristics can be obtained by reducing physical stress during assembling to a capacitor element 1 and thermal stress during reflow of solder, controlling generation of the short-circuit, and reducing a change in the leak current during reflow of solder through introduction of a structure in which gaps t1, t2 of the predetermined sizes are respectively provided between the upper end face of the capacitor element 1 and a sealing material 4, and between the lower end face of the capacitor element and the internal bottom surface of a metal case 3.
