PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart-lung machine to be put into an operative field, by which a priming capacity is drastically reduced, by allowing a whole machine to be ultraslim, and also permitting the length of a blood removing or transmitting tube to be extremely shortened. SOLUTION: An undulation pump is serially and integrally incorporated into a cylindrical artificial lung with a built-in heat exchanger.
