<p>The elastic system (22) in the device (20) used to brake the side walls (14) around the load surface (12) when they are being dropped down is adjustable, depending on the forces generated by these walls as they drop down. The side walls (14) can be swung about a lower axis (16) between a raised (closed) position and a lowered (open) position. The braking device is connected to a tensile force transfer unit, preferably a cable, and acts against the force exerted by the weight of the wall, in order to assist manual opening and closing of the side wall.</p> |
