PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method which reduces man-hour while improving shape accuracy of an inner-spherically peripheral surface including a ball rolling groove. SOLUTION: A stock W is supported by a punch 9 on the lower die 7 side and drawing is executed to an outer periphery of the stock W with a die 36 for drawing on the upper die 8 side, and thus a diameter of a stock W is reduced and the inner-spherically peripheral surface 4 including the ball rolling groove 6 is finished in under-cut shape. The punch 9 is configured to dispose a plurality of rolling groove inserts 11 and an insert 12 for an inner peripheral surface around a mandrel 10, and processing is terminated while the whole surface of the inner-spherically peripheral surface 4 including the ball rolling groove 6 is still confined with the rolling groove inserts 11 and the insert 12 for the inner peripheral surface.
