PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm type speaker having a waterproof structure, which maintains a high waterproofing performance in everyday-life environments without degrading acoustic performance. SOLUTION: A band main body on the 12 o'clock side where a diaphragm type speaker 10 is stored in a speaker storage chamber 20 is covered with a rear cover 5. An aperture 5a of the rear cover 5, which is a sound output hole P, is liquid-tightly sealed with a speaker diaphragm 22 as a waterproof film by using an adhesive. The speaker diaphragm 22 is a wavy waterproof resin diaphragm expanded outward approximately. A magnetic circuit constituting member 24 is made movable in the axial direction and is held on a cylindrical speaker enclosure 21 by a spring member 25. The magnetic circuit constituting member 24 functions also as a protection member which forms a magnetic path of a voice coil 23 and controls downward movement of the speaker diaphragm 22 at the time of application of a water pressure. By this constitution, the speaker diaphragm 22 functions as the waterproof film as well as a pressure adjustment film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
