PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence upon antenna characteristics in the case user's fingers or hands touch an enclosure or an antenna part. SOLUTION: A first enclosure 11 being the enclosure and a second enclosure 12 being a lower enclosure are turnably coupled by a hinge part 13. The enclosure main body of at least the front enclosure 11a of the first enclosure 11 and at least the inside hinge mechanism main body of the hinge part 13 are constituted of members made of a metallic material like magnesium or a material containing a metal. An antenna part 18 arranged in the second enclosure 12 is constituted, for example, of a helical antenna, and the electric length of the antenna is set to aboutλ/4×0.6 which is about 0.6 times as long as 1/4 of a wavelengthλof a radio communication band transmitted/received by a radio part 24. A circuit board 21 in the second enclosure 12 is provided with a matching circuit 23 for matching the resonance frequency of the antenna part 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
