PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of a car body capable of efficiently performing energy absorption at a front compartment even when the car makes a slant head-on collision or an offset frontal collision. SOLUTION: When a collision load is applied to a front side member 2 and a side frame 12 of a sub-frame 11 caused by the slant head-on collision or the offset frontal collision of the car, an efficient load transmission is conducted to a side sill 4 because the tail of the front side member 2 is formed continuously to the forefront of the side sill 4, while the input load to the side frame 12 is transmitted to a floor member 15 through a load transmitting means 18, and borne in sharing by a left 16A and a right frame 16B stretching fore and aft, and to the input load to the front side member 2 and the side frame 121 is efficiently dispersively transmitted to cabin skeleton members.
