PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas injection device for an air bag expansion test capable of adjusting gas injection characteristics. SOLUTION: The device for inflating the air bag 1 comprises a gas supply passage 51 in which the air bag 1 is installed, a gas supply device 52 composed of a cylinder 4 for supplying gas to the gas supply passage 51 and a pressure accumulation tank 6 or the like, a flow rate control valve 11 provided in the gas supply passage 51, and a control device 53 for controlling the opening/closing of the flow rate control valve 11. In the state where the flow rate control valve 11 is closed, gas is filled to the flow rate control valve 11 and the opening/closing of the flow rate control valve 11 can be controlled by the control device 53.
