PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand drier which has no restriction of an installation place, which is simple and easily assembled, and whose cost is reduced. SOLUTION: The hand drier has: a drying part 2 for drying a hand inserted from a hand insertion port; a plurality of air discharging part 7 arranged near the hand insertion port of the drying part opposing each other at prescribed intervals to splash droplets stuck to the front side and rear side of an inserted hand for drying; an air suction connecting pipe 3 for introducing high pressure air from an external compressor; and a step valve 4 to be arranged between the plurality of the air discharging parts and the air suction connecting pipe.
