PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod with which the length of the whole fishing rod is changed and its length is adjusted and which has the large degree of freedom of its zoom length. SOLUTION: In the fishing rod, the length of the whole fishing rod is adjusted by relation of a base rod 1, an upper base rod 2 and a much upper base rod 3. A butt cap 10 is attached to the end part of the butt rod side of the base rod 1 and the butt cap 10 holds the end part of the butt rod side of the upper base rod 2. A bottom cap 11 is attached to the end part of the butt rod side of the upper base rod 2. The bottom cap 11 holds the end part of the butt rod side of the much upper base rod 3.
