A seal arrangement closes a circular gap (8) between two components (2,4) which move with respect to each other, and behind which is a pressurized fluid medium. The seal is a ring lip seal (22) made of a circular disc (30) which has a root zone (28) holding the ring disc against one of the main components (4). The seal has a curved section translating into a conical section (32). The free peripheral zone is elastically tensioned against the surface of the other main component (2). The disc (30) has a coating of a C:H based material especially in the peripheral zone. |
