PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color unevenness correcting apparatus capable of better suppressing color unevenness of a projected image by a display apparatus and to provide a projector, a color unevenness correcting method, a program, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The color unevenness correcting apparatus corrects color unevenness of a projected image on the basis of an imaging result on a projected screen of an output light from the display apparatus under an illumination light. That is, an arithmetic section 150 totalizes color data of the projected screen and data of the illumination light by each prescribed area on the basis of the imaging result to calculate a correction amount, and a color unevenness correction section 115 corrects color unevenness on the basis of the calculated correction amount.
