PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a reinforcing fiber fabric, especially the method for suppressing the generation of so-called bent texture at its end part, and capable of obtaining the fabric having less bent texture and an excellent appearance quality even under the conditions easily generating the bent texture, especially in the fabric consisting of carbon fiber multifilament yarn having a low unit weight and having flat weft yarns. SOLUTION: This method for producing especially the reinforcing fiber fabric having≤1.5 % amount of bent texture is provided by cutting the end part of the reinforcing fiber fabric of which weft yarns are restrained with restraining yarns, by nipping the weft yarns between a plane plate consisting of a rubbery material and a blade.
